Arrived about 9pm and there were a handfull of people in. It was quite smokey on one side of the bar but on the other it was a bit better and had the benefit of a loverly warming real fire.

Whitstable - East India Pale Ale (or EIPA)4.10AcceptableThere was nothing wrong with this but I think it was near the end of the barrel. It had a quite deep and harsh bitterness to it and none of the usual flowery hop zing that a 'top of barrel' pint might have. Still, it was good to see it on.
