Late afternoon good to see this place busy with non Christmassy folk dotted about including a group playing chess. Unexciting beer range today which, to my despair, the Doom Bar clip was turned around.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride4.10ExcellentCrystal clear, perfect temperature and nigh on perfect condition.
St Austell - Proper Job4.50ExcellentSpicy peppery with a bitter sweet finish served in tip top nick.

Lunchtime. Birthday pint with my son. A few eaters in and a couple of other drinkers. It felt very pleasant - I think there has been some additional memorabilia since I was last here. Log fire on the go in the dining area.

Early evening a few chaps drinking at the bar but otherwise quiet. I ponder on how long the village can support both pubs? Hmmm...
