We wanted to look at Godmersham Park, so went on a long walk over the Downs, stopping here for beer.Busy on a sunny afternoon, with live hiddle-dee-diddle music.

Late afternoon good to see this place busy with non Christmassy folk dotted about including a group playing chess. Unexciting beer range today which, to my despair, the Doom Bar clip was turned around.

Lunchtime. Birthday pint with my son. A few eaters in and a couple of other drinkers. It felt very pleasant - I think there has been some additional memorabilia since I was last here. Log fire on the go in the dining area.

Fairly quiet on a breezy August Saturday lunchtime. We sat in the little Saloon bar admiring the fireplace , joined by the Pub Dog.More people were sitting outside.
