First visit since the change in licensees. This was to meet the Kent Brewery Brewer for the evening. Great news they will be setting up in Birling in the next month. Didn't note or partake of the usual beers as I was driving.

Here with Andrew on the start of the NW Kent pubs. Local pub in the centre of a pretty Kent village. Central bar with 3 handpumps. Real fire in one of the many seating areas. Bare red brick walls and lots of dark wood. A traditional English pub. Here for opening on a Saturday and there were another group of 3 men in, but that was it.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Smiles - Turkey's Delight3.80AcceptableCopper colour with thin off whtie head. Some citrus, bit of diacetyl, caramel/butter. Good zing on end helped by crisp carbonation. Bit watery in mouth, some citrus hop on end. Dullish.
