August bank holiday Monday and it was pouring with rain all day so I bit the bullet and put the waterproofs on and came here fir lunchtime session. Sprinkling of locals and decent beer line up

Saw Kevin the Pickle and had the new Time and Tide beers on keykeg. Great pub and what a beer lineup.

Winter ale festival and it was heaving. But in a good way. I can't believe how well the beer has taken off here in the past few years but pleased it has. Chris as always was a fantastic landlord.

Evening and well patronised but we did get seats at the bar after a while. The Brewer from the new Kent brewery Time and Tide was delivering for the forthcoming launch here on Saturday 14th and he had time for a chat. It is initially using spare capacity at Ripple Steam Brewery.

Saturday afternoon on a glorious sunny summers day, and only a handful of people in the pub.
| Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Helles | 4.10 |  | Very tasty, and full of condition. The barman had difficulty in filling the glass, a task that he never completely succeeding in fulfilling. No pun intendend. |

After a long trip around the east coast of Kent and a walk from the station hearing about Ian's "Spanish Chicken" adventure we made it to The Green Berry. We relaxed in the glow of Christmas lights and in the shadow of a wide range of beers. Ian didn't even have a lager; a Christmas miracle.
