Shepherd Neame - Swan County Road Ale4.00ExceptionalWent down really well all round. Refreshing and zesty. Others thought so too. Sheps, pilot brewery ales' seem to taste so much better than there usual swill. And this first cask sold out at 2330!

A busy Friday evening. A fair number of people had come to try the County Road Ale, including Gill, Matt and Pedro of this site, Frank and Charles of Barmy Army fame, and a few others.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Swan County Road Ale4.00ExcellentA Four tenants brew from Shepherd Neame's Pilot Brewery, where four publicans get together and create a beer which is brewed exclusively for their pubs, each pub taking four firkins each. Amber/Copper colour with a creamy head, slightly sweetish.

Late evening and all is quiet. F.Y.I. Jocky tells me the one-off special ale from the Shep's microbrewery, aptly titled Four Tenants in view of the four pubs that have got together to have this special brewed, was delivered to the Swan on Tuesday 27th and will be on in the Swan, possibly, from Friday onwards. No info on the other three pubs involved, but each of the four casks delivered to the four pubs are, confusingly, named after the pubs! As ever, check back with the pubs direct or Pubsandbeer for any further info.
