A busy Friday evening. A fair number of people had come to try the County Road Ale, including Gill, Matt and Pedro of this site, Frank and Charles of Barmy Army fame, and a few others.
Shepherd Neame - Swan County Road Ale | 4.00 | | A Four tenants brew from Shepherd Neame's Pilot Brewery, where four publicans get together and create a beer which is brewed exclusively for their pubs, each pub taking four firkins each. Amber/Copper colour with a creamy head, slightly sweetish. |

28 Jul 2010 (Alenomore)
Late evening and all is quiet.
F.Y.I. Jocky tells me the one-off special ale from the Shep's microbrewery, aptly titled Four Tenants in view of the four pubs that have got together to have this special brewed, was delivered to the Swan on Tuesday 27th and will be on in the Swan, possibly, from Friday onwards. No info on the other three pubs involved, but each of the four casks delivered to the four pubs are, confusingly, named after the pubs! As ever, check back with the pubs direct or Pubsandbeer for any further info.
