Usual Friday evening crowd.

Shepherd Neame - 4-4-24.00Exceptional"The ten hop pint with a kick!". New on today and a new seasonal ale brought out for the current World Cup theme. I thought "ten hops" would be a bit ambitious for Shep's, but, it was a very nice ale, and sampled several tonite!

Arrived at 2130 and a good crowd enjoying St Georges Day. Pub was well decorated, a good all round effort indeed.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Kent's Best4.10ExceptionalIn tip top condition.
Shepherd Neame - Dragonfire4.50ExceptionalNew on for St Georges Day and a new brew that, according to the clip, came from Shep's oak mash tun. Certainly had a good all round taste, lots going on, which is very unusual for a Shep's ale! Several pints downed and regulars enjoyed it as well. (Tried the bottled version at 4.0% in the pub as well, but wouldn't recommend it, not that good at all).

Nightcap time! For those that can make it, the Swan has put the St Georges day flags out and will be laying on some traditional English fayre during the daytime (Friday). Also, the Dragons Fire (Sheps I think) will be on as well. Give them your support!
