Very busy. Disappointing to report that the bottled beer range is much smaller than previously. But you can still find Boon, Cantillon and Rochefort.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Timothy Taylor - Landlord4.30GoodIn top condition. Shone in the glass. Solid malt, some hops, long finish. Would have merited 4* but served too cold.
Kelburn - Goldihops3.80PoorThin golden ale. Unconvincing hop/malt mix and no real character.

Busy. More drinkers than diners gave the bar a good feel.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Timothy Taylor - Landlord4.30GoodReliable standby.
Williams Brothers - Caesar Augustus4.10AcceptableDescribed as an IPA/lager cross this light golden ale was pleasant enough. Light hopping, reasonable body but a little too sweet in the finish. One was enough.

Went back to enjoy the Fiddler's Gold and Enfidach only to find they'd both been replaced with far less exciting options. Such is life.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Burnside - M-Pire5.20GoodChestnut coloured strong bitter. Slightly sweet and malty with some spice to stop it becoming cloying. Drank stronger than its abv.

On a hot sunny lunchtime I was hoping for a light hoppy beer. Please don't tell me that's Deuchars!!

Beautiful evening but the harbour area was surprisingly quiet. None of the ales had any real appeal so enjoyed Bitburger instead.
