Pleasant staff, half full mid Saturday afternoon.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Black4.00GoodFar more fruity than on keg. More depth, more character. Andrew will shoot me, but I think I did prefer the keg version.

I'd had a day of meetings so I arranged one myself between me and a pint to discuss the state of things. Pints always talk the most sense.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Black4.00ExcellentBlack. Soft mouth feel. Roasted with a slightly acrid grapefruit hop finish. ...but the most striking thing about this is the Chocolate with hints of Drambuie. Really nice stuff.

A quiet afternoon, I was able to relax and enjoy a pint in peace and tranquility. This was my first visit to this pub since the snob screens were destroyed in a fire, I am sure that I will be back.

Sat at the bar chatting to Tom, the landlord about beer. He's hoping to set-up a brew-pub in Canterbury himself and be producing beer for sale by June!
