2030 visit. Another old pub I've not visited for nearly two years, and been taken over since then. Real ale in bottles still sold plus the introduction of cask, 3 on plus a Cider, have made this a decent little pub. And only £2.70 a pint too! Also worthy of note for future visits, on Sundays, "Beer Tapas", try 3 ales (in 1/3 glasses) for £2.70! On Mondays, Happy Hour is between 5-9pm. All beer at £2.00 a pint!! Clientèle and interior not changed at all? Well recommended.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hogs Back - Tongham TEA (previously T.E.A.)4.20GoodGood, but again, not cool enough.
Okell's - Autumn Dawn4.20GoodA good ale usually, only let down here by not being served cool enough.
Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Man's Gold4.00Not TriedSurprised indeed to see this here, only had one sample before now. Alas, it went off afore my eyes!
07 Oct 2011 (Dosser)
Pretty packed.£2.50 a pint. 6 beers on and all too warm.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Royal Tunbridge Wells - Harvest4.10AcceptableNo where near as good as the one on in the Flower Pot
