A sunny Saturday afternoon with most of the customers sitting outside. I prefer to drink inside pubs so I had the place to myself although I did pop out for a while to be sociable as I happened to know most of the customers.

Saturday afternoon and my first visit here. The majority of customers seemed to be drinking cider and sitting outside.

Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Dr Sunshine's Special Friendly English Wheat Ale | 4.20 | Not Tried
01 May 2014 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening. First visit to this new pub which was thriving with a good mix of customers. Guv says he is planning to enhance the cellar cabinet cooling but it was OK on this coolish wet night. Dog friendly with four at one time eyeing my compadre's pork pie. I don't think the layout will encourage the instant conversation between strangers that is so much a feature of most Micropubs.
St Austell - Dartmoor Best Bitter (previously 3.9%) | 3.50 | | A West Country Boys' Bitter. I noted that the pub's menu blackboard claimed this as 4.2% but St Austell's own website is adamant that it is 3.5% |
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 3 | 5.00 | | OK but had a scummy broken yeast head |
Sharp's - Coaster (or Cornish Coaster) | 3.60 | Not Tried
