Wiper and True - Summer Stout | 4.20 | | Easy drinking |
Cullercoats - Shuggy Boat Blonde | 3.80 | | On the bar top in a cooled wooden cask. Absolutely endearing sweet perfumed hop nose but poured totally flat and tasted of battery acid. I can't believe this taste could ever match the smell |

Mill Valley - Yorkshire Bitter | 4.00 | | Only the second time (I think) I have marked a beer in The Harp as this poor. Poured flat, no condition, a chore to finish, albeit with no off flavours |

Two of us had been to a meeting in nearby Agar Street that finished soon after 10.30am just as this pub opens so the choice was obvious. Only one other customer when we arrived but it soon filled up. We enjoyed some of the sausages that this pub is renowned for before they ran out. It turned out by chance that it was one the pub's regular beer from the wood days today.

Dark Star - Into the Mild | 3.50

The height of the evening peak and naturally full on both floors as well at outside at the back of the pub. I did not attempt to make a note of the beers on offer but there was a superb range of beers from Dark Star and Fullers. Whilst here I got a message from Philip Pirrip asking me to check out the Scottish Stores near Kings Cross, no chance of that I was on my home after this one.
Dark Star - Into the Mild | 3.50 | | Selling well here today, nice to see a Mild on sale. |
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter | 4.00 | Not Tried
