Mid afternoon, nice weather and plenty of people taking the opportunity of the riverside garden. Good selection of 4 ales being well sampled.

Quite busy both inside and out at lunchtime. New management started very recently but there was a friendly atmosphere and service. Meal was fine although only half the desserts were available.

Once called the Victoria this is a large detached pub on the banks of the River Stour near Wye railway station. The garden runs down to the river and is very busy in the summer. Lots of tables for food consumption. 4 handpumps on the bar counter.
