Evening visit until curfew close. A table end found for me. Initial disappointment to see only Mighty Oak beers on the board but the magic of the Guv and his cellar made than all surprisingly appetising.

Early evening until 21.00 close however my tentative last order at 20.53 was without any drinking up time impediments. My first and long overdue visit to this place and stayed far longer than planned thanks to the friendly jovial and relaxed atmosphere experienced.
| McCanns (used to use Angels and Demons name as well) - Janet Street Green Hop Porter | 4.50 |  | Creamy smooth with a dry liquorice twang. Superb and faultless. |
