Pretty full pub. Landlady much more engaging than the Landlord. Full of interesting information about the pubs history. Beers were very cold to justify their cast marque. Had to ask for the beers to be topped up.

Thought we would visit the local CAMRA branch pub of the year. It advertised loads of local ales and no sheps outside. Well there was no Sheps. 20p off for CAMRA members which made the prices more reasonable at £5.90 for 2 pints.

Got chatting here to a Jazz musician who turned out to kind-of know my dad. Small world. Not many people in and with the door open (because of the great weather) it felt very relaxed and airy.

I arrived in Faversham on the train and walked around the houses to find this pub. There were 2 other blokes in and as the one in front of me had just had Sunburst I knew the pipes were clear. What a lovely pub this is. It’s a one room job with a kind of partition dividing up the front bar and a side boothed area. The floors are wooden and the ceiling high. I really liked this place.
BeerABVScoreNotes

I was the first customer of the day I think and only one other person came in whilst I was there. However, the beer range varies menu of handpumps means that I will be coming back again.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Goacher's - Best Dark Ale (aka Original)4.10AcceptableBadged as Goachers Dark. Deep chestnut colour with lasting beige head. Goachers distinctive aroma, good malty flavour. Choc/malt aroma. Bit acidic. Fine but needs a bit more depth
