20 Mar 2013 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening. Full marks for meeting all requirements of the purist's definition of Micropub. Only open a few days but has bedded in nicely. Quite a few comin's and goin's and examples of strangers (albeit neighbours!) talking. A Micropub already weaving its magic and it is on the Triangle bus route too.

Popped in to wish Patsy and Nigel all the best for their new Micropub venture. The place was packed. If you get the chance it's well worth a visit.

The pub is found in Tankerton, Kent, CT5 2AW.

A micropub in Tankerton Road which first opened on Friday 15th March 2013 located in 139B Tankerton Road. The name is a resurrection of the old Tankerton Arms pub which was highly regarded but converted to apartments sometime ago. The premises was formerly a tattoo parlour and the word Tattoo remains on the glass above the pub frontage. There is no bar counter and there are long wooden raised bench seats fitted to both the left and right hand walls each with 3 heavy chest-height wooden tables. At the back of the pub a glass door leads to the chilled gravity stillage room. A Unisex toilet with a double "kissing gate" entrance is provided. Sells real ales, ciders and red and white wine. Local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year 2016. Subsequently moved to new premises, a few doors along, in late March 2018 to the former HSBC bank premises at 135 Tankerton Road, larger than the previous premises in all regards.

We have visited this pub 52 times, seen 159 different beers and tried 81 of them.
