Arbor Ales / Bristol Beer Factory Collaboration - English IPA | 6.80 | | Unfined but was as cloudy as a Scrumpy Cider. High hyper hop hit hysteria. £4 pp good value. |

26 Jan 2013 (Andrew)
First time I've ever been here. Big hand written sign on the door saying "home fans only". I was neither "home" or "away" so guess it was okay for me to enter. The pub was not quite what I thought it would be from what I'd been told. Pleasant enough.
Dark Star - Hophead Galaxy | 3.80 | | Bit cold. Bit of diacetyl. Bit of eggy aroma. Hop was bit too grapefruit rind for me. Prefer the original Hophead personally |
Titanic - Stout | 4.50 | Not Tried

Offbeat - Outlandish Pale | 3.90 | Not Tried

19 Nov 2012 (Philip Pirrip)
2nd visit of evening tempted by the two beers I had seen earlier.
Dark Star - Green Hop IPA | 6.50 | | I think this is the best of this year's crop of green hopped ales. Moreish. |

Busy but not so that I couldn't get a table during my visit.
Waen - Rush and a Push | 4.30 | | Ruby bitter with a fairly sharp but winey character with some hop and a hint of toasted malt. Sharpish dry finish. My score 14/20. |
10 Jun 2012 (ChrisE)
A large group of us met here at lunchtime, and most of them were still there when I left at 6pm. A most enjoyable afternoon.
Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 3.40 | | This was taken off sale after various people returned their pints. Fortunately a fresh cask was put on sale, and that was excellent Hophead as it should be. |
Dark Star - Sunburst | 4.80
Brodie's (latterly contract brewed by Rhymney) - Old Street Pale | 5.00 | | Delicious, I had a couple of these and decided that a return visit to the King William IV might be in order. |
Tryst - Citra | 3.90 | | |
