Early evening - only a few drinkers in but expecting a rush if the number of bar staff was anything to go by. Incongruous background music from the Salvation Army just across the lane.

Busy lunchtime visit. The pulled pork sandwich went down well with the ale plus an added bonus for CAMRA card carrying members is that the 10% discount off ales includes food! bonus :)

Pub No 6. Although the doors were closed it was still cold. Excellent beer range as usual but I'm not convinced about the pub in winter.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Mid afternoon. The outside doors as closed it must be winter. The standard of music on the sound system has gone through the roof and the range and quality of the beer is still cracking.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Canterbury Brewers - Street Light Porter5.80ExcellentIt's got that old Jamaica chocolate taste again. Gorgeous.

Murky, grim late afternoon. Unknown Pleasures on the sound system seemed to fit, until the hipster barmaid turned it off half-way through Candidate and put on some American R&B s**t. Confirmed my opinion....
BeerABVScoreNotes
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Dark Conspiracy4.90GoodNice. Dark, bitter chocolate.

The pub is found in Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2NR.

Brewery tap for Canterbury Brewers. The brewery is inside the building and may be viewed through an internal window. Upstairs and ground floor bars with the latter always open. 7 handpumps sported in each of the 2 bars. Substantial discount on real ales for Card carrying CAMRA members - at April 2013 this was 10% on own brewed beer - ask if there is a discount on food too as this is allegedly 10% too. Consists of two bar areas - one downstairs adjacent to the brewery and another up some steps to a mezzanine level. Originally located in White Horse Lane near the Cherry Tree pub. In addition to its excellent home brewed ales the pub is getting a reputation for tasty and good value food. Moved in October 2018 to a new location in Stour Street "lock stock and barrel".

We have visited this pub 146 times, seen 100 different beers and tried 74 of them.
