Last knocking visits until close. Took much effort to not be served in plastic. Server said she wanted everyone out by 5 past midnight. What an encouragement towards irresponsible drinking for someone served at 2359! I noticed most people left around 15 minutes past as usual here.

Last knockings visit until close. Very poor selection of real ales for day one of the JDW beer festival. As usual a festival beer pump clip was showing but turned out to be either sold out (already!!) or simply not available. This poor practice constantly damages the JDW brand.

Located in the very heart of central Greenwich in Creek Road. It is effectively part of the Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich Docklands Light Railway Station complex. This Wetherspoon pub takes its name from the clock fixed to the gate of the Greenwich Observatory in 1851, which is known throughout the world for telling Greenwich Mean Time. 12 handpumps in 2 banks, each of 6 downstairs, and 5 more in the upstairs bar which has more limited opening hours.
