Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

The Brown Jug, Broadstairs, Kent

ChrisEGood09 Sep 2010 Jenny informed me that she had this down in the cellar waiting to go on, and offered to pour me a pint from the cask. I think Greene King beers are better served by gravity, and it certainly seemed to be the case with this pint. Fruity and biscuity.

IanGood13 Sep 2009 This was actually pretty good with only slight GK yeast aroma some decent bitter malt in middle and definite hoppy bite on finish. Very drinkable bitter. Must be the new phone it is affecting my taste.

IanAcceptable30 Oct 2008 Copper colour, GK yeast aroma, some malt in mouth. It's an undistinguished bitter with some citrus hop on the end.
