A very busy and friendly lunchtime in this new micro pub and a much needed addition to the area. I was also informed that a micro pub is on the cards for the Isle Of Sheppey! Watch this space....

Evening. Only open for less than a week but feels as if has always been there. The place is ideal for conversation and joshing and they were much in evidence. Heated debate about what colour the walls were - concluded as Summer Pudding Red, and about where the word Regis in Milton Regis was derived from - I heard no definitive on that only conjecture and fable.
The pub is found in Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 2JN.
First Micropub in Sittingbourne located on a street corner in Charlotte Street. Name reflects the significant historical importance of paper making to the area. Officially opened on Saturday 12th October 2013. The licensee is a lady who has always wanted to open a pub like pubs once were and has been very successful in achieving this. Premises were formerly a building contractor's office and prior to that various shop existences. Small square main bar with wall mounted high benches on all four sides and high tables to match. Table service from a gravity stillage cellar at the back. Unisex toilet. Decorated with enamel signs from old Kent breweries which have been lent by Goacher's Brewery from its vast collection and there is always a Goacher's beer on here. The very layout and size mean conversation is King, Queen, Prince and Princess. CAMRA Swale Branch Pub of the Year 2015, 2016, 2017 and again in 2025.
We have visited this pub 65 times, seen 93 different beers and tried 68 of them.
