Evening until close. Day 2 of opening and packed. Found a high table to stand at and spoke to a very pleasant local family who are very knowledgeable in the pub trade. The owners say opening hours are still fluid whilst they find their feet. A most welcome addition to Gravesend's real ale venues. If I may make constructive criticism it would be that there was quite a crescendo of sound inside making me suspect that some additional soft furnishings, maybe wall fitted, might help quell this.

Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 73.80AcceptableFresh on and maybe a bit fresh too. Consequently rather flat
Caveman (latterly a cuckoo at Leatherbritches) - Compass Light Ale3.50AcceptableBrewed with help from the owners of this pub. Not quite a house beer as branded and sold elsewhere. I found it had a bit of a backtaste that did not enamour. Ran out later
