Lots of old boys in drinking ale. Good on 'em. I sat on the window bench and listening to Foreigner on the stereo.

In 1991 I came here by mistake. I don't think I know another pub with the same feel. It's worth a visit just to be in a pub that feels like it's tearing itself apart. Anyway, today five local old boys (so my age and over) are sat at the bar. A pleasant atmosphere.

So good I came twice. I always reminds hunk the layout here is just weird. Good music on; Fleetwood Mac, flute stuff and jazz.

A late evening visit after fish n chips. Not busy enough for us not to get a seat. Chris sat here and ordered De Molen beers on his phone to be delivered straight to his door back home.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Dartmoor - Dartmoor Best3.70AcceptableGood condition easy drinking old school bitter. Did take me back to a pint of something similar I had in a pub on Dartmoor 25 years ago.

Busy, in a kind of 1980's way where people in tight shorts stand about with glasses of dark spirts and aged men parade their, slighty weather-worn, trophy wives. I half expected Alan Whicker to walk in.
