Very cheerful barmaid and slightly inebriated lady customer povided entertainment. Went from quiet to busy very quickly. Good choice of beers.

Usual excellent laid back atmosphere and two interesting milds on.
Leadmill - Butterley Tunnel4.20ExcellentBlack strong mild with a good chocolate malt character, low hop rate and a slightly frity finish. My score 16/20.

Fantastic atmosphere as ever in this part cellar cave bar.
Oldershaw - Grantham Dark3.60ExcellentGood caramel and chocolate malt flavours giving a full bodied sweetness with just a little fruity hop in the finish. My score 16/20.
Brampton - Mild4.90ExcellentA rare find for this strong black mild. Full on chocolate malt flavour giving a full bodied and smooth character to the beer. Hints of berry fruits in the finish. My score 17/20.

Brass Monkey - Very Mild Monkey3.60GoodReddish/brown mild with a bittersweet malty character and low hopping. Fairly dry finish.My score 15/20.
