Late afternoon just a few others dotted about in the front and rear bars, we opted for the latter and enjoyed the calm relaxed atmosphere assisted by a nice cool breeze courtesy of the side door wedged open on a pleasantly warm day.

4th Beer and bangers festival. Outside marquee hosting the guest ales, with the usual ales in the bars, and varieties of sausages for just a quid. Chocolate choice upstairs as well in the skittles alley! Great evening, lots of folk inside and out

Great atmosphere, around 8 o'clock, pleasantly busy and enjoyed hearing people asking about the beers, clearly their first visit to the pub. Warm, friendly and cozy
BeerABVScoreNotes
Burton Bridge - Cool Hand Luke4.50GoodThe January Gold Medal ale for the Bridge. Found out why I thought they taste similar - they are brewed to the same recipe, just with a different rotating hop. This one has Admiral & Challenger Hops and was pleasant, bitter, without being exceptional.

Lovely atmosphere, nice fire going and delighted to see the VAT increase hadn't been passed on (still £2.35 a pint!!)
BeerABVScoreNotes
Burton Bridge - Golden Delicious3.80ExceptionalDelightful pint, perfectly served and full of hoppy flavour and a dry bitter finished. Solid head and perfect temperature.
Burton Bridge - Damson Porter4.50ExcellentLovely, full of fruit and dark, complex flavours flavours
Burton Bridge - Pull It Surprize4.50AcceptablePart of the monthly "Gold Medal Ale" rotation. I do find these generally quite generic and this one no different, no real taste to be honest and a bit of an amalgam of the rest of the Bridge offers
