14:30 Fairly quiet. I think the last time I came here it was a Younger's pub. It must have been a strange interior originally as it as a fairly small pub but there are four external doors.

No TV in here, so quiet in the early evening during the World Cup. I don’t think I’ve been in here since it was being rather eccentrically run by Roxy Beaujolais, now of the Seven Stars at Aldwych. A nice little pub.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Thwaites - 13 Guns (canned)5.50ExcellentI’m not sure why I have blanked this beer on several recent occasions. It turns out to be a pretty good, strong, hoppy, US-style IPA.

First stop on our pub crawl. Got here about midday and sat by an open door seeing as how it was such a nice day. The pub wasn't too busy. I liked it.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Coach House - Dick Turpin4.20AcceptableSlight vinegar smell and a slight tart taste suggesting that this was on the turn. However there was enough smoaky malt there to make this quite a nice pint.

Moderately busy on a late afternoon in December. Good range of beers and I quite liked enjoying the hustle and bustle of Soho and Charing Cross Road
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hanlons (formerly O'Hanlon's) - Original Port Stout4.80ExcellentDeep rich stout with lots of fruit. Rich, thick and gorgeous. Dry grainy finish. One of the best stouts I’ve had. Some very good sour notes and good dark fruits too. It just has everything you would want and mixes them together so well. Beer of the day for me.
Coach House - Xmas Pudding4.40GoodCopper with thin white head. Very cinnamon/nutmeg nose. Really very pleasant actually. Good spice and one of the best Xmas beers this year. Pale malt is juicy, but could do with a bit more body. Very well integrated flavours which make the whole thing work as a beer. Really very nice.

The pub is found in Soho, Central London, W1D 5DD.

Corner pub not far from Cambridge Circus in Greek Street. Not a huge pub, but the beer range seems to take some of the more interesting beers from Nicholson's suppliers. Friendly enough for a quick pint.

We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 18 different beers and tried 5 of them.
