12:30 Second stop to assess Heritage potential. Steady trade when we arrived but soon got busy as 13:00 approached. The Manager opened up the ballroom for our party to inspect.

Evening. My first visit to Petts Wood pubs and I was impressed with the size and prominence of this pub but not its beer range. Very well maintained inside. Competitive prices with, for example, GK IPA at £2.40pp - presumably the Wetherspoon effect.

A great beer from the GK stable. First time I've seen it in cask form, but at 5% a little lower than the bottle (unless I'm mistaken). £3 per pint makes it good value too, I reckon. This might be an M&B/Ember Inns exclusive.

No mention of this on the brewer's website, maybe they aren't too proud of it! Not much to it, a little watery and bland. Edit: Informed by Adnams it's a rebranding of Lighthouse for M&B.

The pub is found in Petts Wood, Greater London, BR5 1LZ.
The Daylight Inn is named in honour of local builder William Willett, who campaigned for daylight saving in the 1900s. Originally built as a hotel with an attached ballroom but still very well preserved. This large detached pub dominates the Station Square. Has its own parking and a secluded garden. 5 handpumps on one bar counter and 3 on the other. Has a no dogs policy. Grade II listed in 2015.
We have visited this pub 13 times, seen 20 different beers and tried 16 of them.
