The rather wonderful "Real ale finder" app pinged and said Goachers Dark had just come on at the Just Reproach - so we headed back. Pub number 9 and our last of the day. Busier than before so we had to stand.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Goacher's - Best Dark Ale (aka Original)4.10GoodFresh on. Be cracking tomorrow I should think.

Lynnes sons birthday so its proceccos on the beach with cake. The sun shone but we froze with the wicked breeze. 4 beers on and a full pub full of chatty characters. Unusual beers today all at £3.90 a pint.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Oakham - Echo Cask Aged5.00GoodBrown beer but full of what was described as different hops. The beer didn't work for me though perfectly adequate.
Tiny Rebel - Oh Apricot4.60GoodDescribed as an apricot milkshake but it was for the ladies who enjoyed it not me. In good condition though.
Verdant - Beyond the Pale4.30Not Tried

Oakham - Fruit Crumble4.00GoodA very unusual pint from Oakham’s usual pale offerings. Complex flavours that seemed to improve as the pint went down.

I arrived 3 minutes before 17.00 opening the lights were on and the door unlocked as the barmaid was putting the final touches into place, friendly welcome and was soon joined by a couple of friends and by the time we left a couple of hours later it was standing room only.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Iron Pier - Wealdway IPA4.50ExcellentLight hoppy slight hints of citrus made for a refreshing pint.

Brew By Numbers - 11 Session IPA Mosaic3.80ExcellentA hazy smooth tropical fruits feast with hardly any harsh citrus intensity.

Early evening until close (which incidentally is 20.00) less busy than expected thus plenty of space so we took over the window seats and enjoyed our beers before heading off for a curry. I neglected to find out the significance of the TFL route 28 bus blind adorning the wall.
