Another Sunday lunch with my elders and betters. There has been a boot fair in the pub’s field and with the weather a bit too cool for use of the garden this makes the pub interior a little too crowded for comfort today.

Pre-Christmas lunchtime visit with my parents. Very busy again here. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and reminiscing about Christmases past. Around five cask beers were available.

I brought my parents here for lunch to celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary. The pub was very busy indeed – the new norm according to the landlady who told me that Sunday meal trade had really picked up in the last few months. There was a fourth cask beer on, but I forget which.
