Mid afternoon friendly welcome in another back street yet rather large unrefurbished locals den gained my instant approval.

It is a long time indeed since I was last here, but the pub is instantly recognisable. Quite busy, with a darts match in progress and the Chelsea game on the TV.

The pub is found in Enfield, Greater London, N21 3HA.
A good-sized, suburban pub in an otherwise residential street, about 15 minutes walk from Winchmore Hill railway station. There is a large front bar, with smaller areas to the side – one smart and comfortable, the other housing pool table and darts. Garden at rear.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 6 different beers and tried 4 of them.
