14 Jul 2012 (Stephen Harris)
We found nowhere in Vaasa more appealing than our own hotel bar, so stayed here for a few late beers, heading upstairs at around 11;30pm as the crowds were beginning to gather for the Saturday night karaoke. A wide range of mass-market beers available on keg or from the bottle.
Sinebrychoff - Karhu IV A 5.30AcceptableOn keg dispense. Same gold colour as the Karhu III. Very sweet and malty, with a little bit of hop character.
Sinebrychoff - Karhu III4.60PoorOn keg dispense. Gold-coloured, sticky-sweet and malty.
Sinebrychoff - Koff III4.50PoorFrom a bottle. Golden, dry in comparison to other Finnish lagers. A bit of cardboard in the taste.
