A busy mid Friday evening friendly welcome from the jovial and efficient barmaid who kept the beers flowing and still entertaining banter well. I've only listed what I drank.

Late afternoon quiet just another couple of chaps enjoying a beer or two in this relaxed friendly edge of town proper boozer. I only anticipated staying an hour but glad I didn't as much to my amusement a couple of jolly CAMRA types from Preston turned up under the impression this was a micropub!

The pub is found in Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 2TP.

This pub in East Street was established by 1900 as the Black Horse. It has been acquired by the nearby Mauldons Brewery of Sudbury and re-branded as their brewery tap, one of two pubs owned by the brewery (the other is in Norwich). An ā€˜Lā€™-shaped drinking area, with the small bar at the centre. Garden to rear. Most beers are served on gravity dispense.
