Sunday lunchtime cycle meet. I think this may have changed hands recently. Very friendly welcome. 10 of us sat outside and supped in the sunshine. A bouncy castle was inflated at some time but we all declined to participate- might have spilled our rather good beers.

Sunday lunchtime with gathering clouds. Despite (or because of?) the weather outside this was a very cheery place. Drinkers in the main bar, eaters mostly segregated in the dining area. Had a good session with three of my cycling buddies before we made the wet ride home. Ales at a very reasonable £4.40.

Lunchtime- group of 10 cyclists - we enjoyed the garden in the spring weather. A Canterbury Ale on as well but I didn’t note which.

Lunchtime cycle meet. I believe there are new licensees in the last few month and lunchtime food is available again. Beers in good nick but some criticism from the guys that they were all a bit similar in style and strength. Sat in the sunny garden, pleasant.

Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday Thursday. Back here for a cycle group get together. Lunchtime, plenty of people enjoying the sunny garden. A “Jubilee” ale from Greene King at 4.0% also on. Reasonable - but should it have been called “Bandwaggon” ?

A Potterers cycle gathering - I wasn’t sure that I could make the 32 mile round trip after my exertions yesterday - but the wind helped me here and a couple of pints helped me get back home. Half a dozen of us had the raised area to the left of the bar. Friendly place.

Evening, my first visit here. We sat at a table surrounded by diners, loud talkers and for me the off-putting smell of fish. Not one to linger long at.

Lunchtime - just before 32 diners arrived apparently - but kindly fitted us in for a meal all the same. A nice feel to the place with a few drinkers at the bar. Food very nice but a bit small and pricey I thought.
