Becoming more restauranty, new frontdoor now in use, leading customers to a reception desk before getting to the bar. Lots of young staff trying to look busy.

Lunchtime cycle meet. We sat in the little alcove (or the naughty corner?) near the bar as the weather was a bit damp for the garden. Pleasant enough.

The ABV has been reduced but I also think the other ingredients have also been cut back - it really is a very weak flavoured beer now lacking in body. |

Our cycle group squeezed into a small area with seats at various heights. Landlord explained that, on Sundays, the pub relies on a busy food service to break even.
