Opening time and we were the first customers, I managed to complete a loyalty card that I had had for some years and claimed my free pint. We sat outside near the brewery.

A bit more relaxed than my previous pub stop, this is a place I would visit more often were it not so very much out of the way.

We broke our rail journey from Salisbury to London in the mid-evening to visit this excellent pub. It is absolutely rammed, in both bars and in the rear garden, and we end up squished up against the Christmas Tree. I hope to come back at a more relaxed time. In addition to the three home-brewed beers listed, there were six cask guests.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Big Smoke - Underworld Milk Stout5.00ExcellentBeer now called ‘Underworld Milk Stout’. Sweet black stout. Good hops, understated vanilla.
Big Smoke - Solaris Session Pale3.80GoodBeer now called ‘Solaris Session Pale. Golden and hazy (I’m guessing unfined) with hops and yeast flavours.
Big Smoke - Mothership5.50Not Tried
