Evening visit until 1030pm close. Availed myself to drink from one of the pub's 10 sided lantern glasses, albeit modern repros of the style and with embossed weights and measures pint mark on the base. Last one out.

Evening visit until 10.30pm close. Very chatty and informative manager. This pub has secured a modern make (CE mark on base) of the Beer is Best ad style 10 straight-sided jugs.

Early evening. A very pleasant pub with a slightly battered feel but some well-preserved features including a fine bar back. Plenty of people tucking into some good looking pizzas.

Corner house in Trafalgar Road which was refurbished and re-launched round about 2014. A striking paint job on the pub frontage. Bare-boarded and traditional inside and on 2 levels, with garden to rear. 4 cask ale handpumps plus boxed ciders.

We have visited this pub 6 times, seen 16 different beers and tried 4 of them.
