First time drinking here. Lovely beer garden. 3 beers on, all under 4.2%.

| Shepherd Neame - Citra Smack | 3.80 | | £5.20 a pint. Very wishy washy with little citrus flavours. This beer has nothing on Oakham citra. |

There were unreserved tables available so decided to give this place a go being next door, stayed for just the one as no cask ale available so I settled for a bottle of Master Brew. No table service here, having to queue up at the outside bar to obtain refreshments.

Family over from australia so came here for a meal. Goreous views over the bay from the first floor and food was great.

Wandered down in the hopes of having lunch in the beer garden. Unfortunately the gale force winds and the sheer number of people in the pub made this impossible. Still stopped for a quick pint. Lovely pub with a great beer garden, however, &7.10 for 2 pints of early bird can not be in any way justified.

I haven't been here for years, but it really is a lovely pub. The only Shepherd Neame pub I like. Although the £3 tag on a pint of Bishops Finger is a little steep.
