Early Monday lunchtime:three elderly Gents were discussing Last of the Summer Wine-I think I passed as Compo.Cracking pub.

21:50 Having got back to Shrewsbury I made my way here, my route took me past the Vaults. The band tuning up proved the accuracy of the GBG. The Fishes was fairly quiet. There were a number of individual drinkers and I would describe the atmosphere as subdued.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Salopian - Matrix4.20ExcellentYet another light and hoppy beer

An old favourite pub, although smaller than I had remembered it. A couple of really top quality beers sampled here. Our taxis had fun getting up the narrow, cobbled street outside to pick us up at 2:30 for the run out to the new football stadium.
