| Ian | | 29 Jan 2008 | Deep ruby/brown with little beige head. Roasty stout. Maybe overly roasted with liquorice too. Some condition. But a little thin in mouth. Too much liquorice for my liking. Toffee, caramel aroma, maybe a touch of diacetyl. Odd and not to my taste. |
The Willow Walk, Victoria, Central London

| Ian | | 23 Feb 2005 | Excellent stout with all the flavours and texture of a stout, but with extra body, flavour and finish |
4.80% ABV.
Smooth and full-bodied with a refreshing hoppy aftertaste. A blend of dark malts give it a character all of it’s own. Black malt enriches the colour and teases the palate, and brown malt gives it the dryness.
