Hogan Sampling | | 15 Feb 2025 | Not tried a Leigh on Sea ale since my last visit to that part of the world in September 2024 and so a pleasant surprise to see it here. A "loveleigh" golden ale, and as so spelt, it proved to be with much head and lacing. A fruity and hoppy first hit. A very dry mouthfeel and moreish aftertaste lingering. Made up for the bad beer in the Three Daws earlier. Only ever 3 beers on here and so they keep fresh which also helps. |

Hogan Sampling | | 21 Sep 2024 | As the pump clip described it, it was a "loveleigh" golden ale and from Leigh-on-Sea's local micro-brewery and so named. Very good head and lacing and lightly hoppy with a lingering bitterness. |
