| Hogan Sampling | | 28 Dec 2025 | Good head and lacing and lasting on this Kentish session pale, also called the Satsuma Pale, and from Birling, north of West Malling. A hoppy first bite. A pleasant dry hoppiness rising from what are most likely to be American hops. This is though not specifically stated in achieving its punchy citrus and floral flavourings that then became evident. Certainly a touch of hoppy fruitiness rearing up from its citrusy notes from satsuma mixed with elderflower, but not overly fruited, before its sailing out. |
