30 May 2019 (Jack William)
Timed my cycle to sample three ales as the Gadd’s ran out just after my pint. Lively banter with the regulars as usual - one told me that he was off to see Afghanistan play Australia in “Brizzle” - I thought it was a wind-up, but apparently it was true - World Cup cricket in Bristol.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hopdaemon - Golden Braid3.70GoodFresh on and very pleasing.
Romney Marsh - American Pale5.00GoodYum.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Hoppy Pale3.60GoodVery tasty - especially for a 3.6

A miserable day for weather - but jolly banter, a coal fire and some roasted chestnuts at the Carpenters. Very pleasant. Colin, the landlord, tells us that the Rockin Robin brewery has closed down - tonight’s Reliant Robin one of the last barrels produced.
