Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

RayPoor22 Oct 2010 Hazy and a little cold there were some citrus notes which didn't match well with the thin malt.

BlairAcceptable14 Feb 2009 I don't know why I got this because I already knew I'm not a big fan. Quite bitter and hoppy and not that easy to drink. Not a bad beer though.

Prince of Wales, Hoath, Kent

WhoScoreWhenNotes
MickGood05 Feb 2009 A nice enough pint, pale and hoppy and some citrus but a bit unexciting. It seemed a better option than Masterbrew.

IanGood18 Sep 2008 Phil didn't like it much, but to be honest after 6 days of Dutch and American beers, it was nice to have a British beer. If I had to drink this all night, I wouldn't have complained.

Montefiore Arms, Ramsgate, Kent

BlairPoor17 Aug 2008 I do not like this. Served very well, but this was far too bitter and zingy for my liking. No, no, no.

The Samuel Peto, Folkestone, Kent

IanGood02 Nov 2007 Well it's gold, thin white bubbly head. It's a faintly malty, faintly hoppy beer. Nice enough. Citrus orangey fruity flavours. Drinkable and quite likeable. Doesn't exactly excite, but definitely drinkable.
