WittendenAcceptable20 Sep 2009 Billed as a Red ale, this was a dark, reddish tinged beer. A good depth of malt, partly balanced by a moderate level of hops. Ahint of roast barley: not an old, not a mild, not really a bitter. Not really what I was looking for, but it grew on me.
