Having left the nearby Beaver Inn without getting a drink I came here. What a contrast, they were doing everything right here. Having logged in on the NHS app I was shown to a table where my order was taken. Although the pub was very busy there was adequate staffing and I got very good service from the young cheerful staff. I had originally intended to use a local chippy on the way home but decided instead to order Fish and Chips in here and have another pint.

Morning visit to try their full English Breakfast which was very good. I had a long chat with the manager about the hospitality business.

Late afternoon and busy, we found a table by the garden entrance and perched there.

Mid evening and as busy as expected.

Afternoon visit, fairly busy inside and in the garden area.

Late evening and busy with drinkers inside and outside. Bar staff managed to keep up with the orders admirably.

Busy evening with a work colleague's leaving do and the Euro football crowds watching the game.

Afternoon and not too busy. I was disappointed to see only two ales on offer.

Late afternoon, I met up with some friends for a few beers. The pub was busy with local clientele, and seemed to be very much wet led at this time of day.

Mid afternoon and very quiet, apart from the background music which was too loud for an almost empty pub.
