Ye Olde Beverlie, Canterbury, Kent

KenGood01 Mar 2013 A decent lunchtime pint, a good few notches up from Masterbrew but not one I'd feel the need to drink again.

The Cock Inn, Boughton Monchelsea, Kent

DosserAcceptable01 Mar 2013 Lack of condition. An uninteresting and uninspiring beer.

WittendenExcellent24 Feb 2013 I hadn't had this before:tastey malts with intriguing farmyard hops, without the astringency of Master Brew. Dark amber. Reaffirms my faith in Sheps.

Philip PirripExcellent03 Feb 2013 Tasted and smelt like a stronger Master Brew Bitter rather than a Winter Warmer as the pump clip had suggested

The Plough, Langley, Kent

PedroGood15 Apr 2012 Handwritten pump clip said Blonde Ale but as I haven't heard of it and the beer wasn't blonde guessing it was Amber!

IanExcellent26 Feb 2010 Crazy, I come all the way from Kent where I can’t find it, to Liverpool, where I can. I almost missed the pump clip at the end of 6 handpulls and had to squint to see who the brewer was of this amber ale. Of course, once I saw what it was, I ended up drinking a pint and a half of it. Deep amber in colour, with a lasting cream head. It’s a decent amber with that rich slight roasted maple syrup pecan nut flavour which I like so much. Some Sheps yeast. Now almost obligatory hop all over it. Can’t believe it. They’re turning out good stuff. Great malts, really good hops on the finish, like earthy really fresh hop. Brilliant.

Chestfield Barn, Chestfield, Kent

AndrewGood14 Feb 2010 A brown coloured beer with lots of toasted tangy orange zest and a zingy hoppy finish. Nice.

Walnut Tree, East Farleigh, Kent

MattExcellent10 Feb 2010 A fruity ale with lots of malt, quite an intense floral aftertaste, reminded me of Turkish delight, not really to my taste!!! well kept though.
