About 5pm on a Saturday, and my first visit since the pub changed hands recently. Little has changed apart from a few pictures on the walls, it was encouraging to find the pub quite busy.

Scaffolding outside made the place look a bit uninviting but I am told the work needs doing, and that it is being done properly, nevertheless for a short while I was the only customer. I had a good chat with Stuart about his recent holiday and plans for his forthcoming retirement.
