Lunchtime. Fairly quiet - talk of their stall at the Faversham Hop a festival running out of beer early yesterday. There was also a guest ale on that I didn’t note.

Sunday lunchtime cycle meet - we stayed long enough to hear the ukulele band strike up with a Pink Floyd number and stayed for some Monkees and Kinks. Jolly session - and all ales still at £3.50 a pint.
Two new beers on (life’s too short to scroll to the “W” section of breweries to put these on):
Brithop 4.2 single hop unfined, good and fruity;
VE Day 4.5, premium bitter. Terrific condition but lacking somewhat in flavour and body.

Lunctime cycle meet. We sat outside in the sun with a few other customers. Around 15 or so musicians, mostly ukulele players, entertained a couple of people inside.

Friendly service but often busy with brewery chores. Nice sunny day, sat outside without too much disturbance from passing farm vehicles.

Sunday lunchtime cycle group meeting. 9 of us and another group of 4 cyclists. I think there was only three or four other customers. We sat in the sun and enjoyed the good ales at just £3.50 a pint.

Bus tour continues. Went to shivering sands but no beer over 4.7% so jumped back on bus to wantsum. Not a great selection considering what they sell in ramsgate. £4 squid for everything.

The pub is found in St Nicholas-at-Wade, Kent, CT7 0PT.
First brewed September 2009 and located in Hersden within City of Canterbury boundaries. Later moved to St Nicholas-at-Wade and opened its taproom adjacent to the brewery and with limited opening hours.
