14 Aug 2023 (Magnus Greel)
Lunchtime and three of us enjoyed the exclusivety of personal invites by the bar manager who's a friend of ours to finish off some very good ales at half price that wouldn't keep until the next home game.
Rooster's - Yankee | 4.30 | | This light and easy-drinking ale showcasing the floral and citrus fruit aromas of the Cascade hop was in faultless condtion. |
Salopian - Oracle | 4.00 | | Dry but not overtly bitter and a tiny hint of sweetness to add body. |
Mighty Oak - Captain Bob | 3.80 | | Traditional deep amber bitter brewed using only Nelson Sauvin hop for a fruity and hoppy palate with hints of gooseberry, elderflower and grape in the finish. |
Burning Sky - Plateau (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | | Pale gold in colour, with a crisp malt edge and sharp bitterness. |
