The ever-popular Mighty Oak Christmas beers night at LOSC. By the time I arrive some beers are already on their second cask. Time was when the club would be decked out like Santa’s Grotto for this event; decoration much more restrained these days. Other beers as listed by ChrisE.

We managed to get slightly early doors just before the official 5pm opening which was just as well as this place soon became very busy indeed. Any fears that holding their annual Mighty Oak Brewery night on a Thursday instead of Friday might put people off were completely unfounded. Excellent service at the bar and a selection of very good filled rolls were available at £1.60 each, mince pies were gratis.
