This pub has undergone a refurbishment since my last visit. Rush hour crowds thinning out by the time I arrived at 7:30. Visit slightly blighted tonight by over-loud music, but it was mild enough to avoid by standing outside.

I’ve actually spent all of today attending the European Parliament and, a tram, a Eurostar and a tube later, this is my unlikely venue for a quick pint on the way home. I chose a beer whose name seems appropriate to my day.
