Early evening. I’d heard that this had recently changed hands. Enthusiastic new owners talking of varying the real ales. TT Landlord ready to go on and a new Angels and Demons being delivered tomorrow. Unfortunately no other customers in - but I’ll keep an eye on this one.

Early evening - only a handful in. This looks like another rural gem - good “public bar” area with a pool table, a small eating area, plus conservatory, small garden and a quiete roadside area with bench table. Love the (new) sign - with the old sawyer clearly not the wisest.

My wife and were in need of a lunchtime meal so dropped in here. It was quite quiet but then we had arrived just after noon. The food was good and reasonably priced with vegetarian options advertised.

Early afternoon Saturday. Not many in at first, but later there were a few people eating. Only two real ales.

Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride4.10AcceptableQuite smooth and creamy, but without any real character. Not bad nevertheless.
